Wright-Patt Credit Union

Wright-Patt Credit Union has been in existence since 1932, and first joined the downtown Dayton community in 1977. After several relocations in the downtown area, the Member Center at 1 South Main Street reopened in February 2004.

As a not-for-profit, member-owned financial cooperative, Wright-Patt Credit Union is operated for our members’ benefit, not for someone else’s profit. All members share the rewards of the credit union’s strength and success in the form of affordable rates on loans; great returns on savings; excellent growth of the money they have invested for the future; special programs to help manage their finances; and low or no fees for all services and products.

We often hear that Wright-Patt offers products and services you would expect from a large corporation, but with a “small town” flavor. We also pay more for deposits than for-profit banking institutions, providing members with a better return on savings. We charge less for loans by offering lower loan rates, and we offer lower user account fees.

How do we do this? We focus on serving Main Street, not on maximizing earnings to meet Wall Street projections. No one is more important to us than our member-owners. That’s why Wright-Patt was able to pay a Special Patronage Dividend of over $4 million back to our members in January, 2010.

The Downtown Dayton Member Center staff – Michelle, Beth, Jenna, Holly and Stephanie – invites you to stop by and learn how we can help you with all of your personal or business financial needs. In addition to savings and checking accounts, we offer credit cards, personal loans such as auto, student and home equity loans, small business solutions and more!

More information about Wright-Patt’s services is available at www.wpcu.coop or by calling our Member Help Center at (937)912-7000 or (800) 762-0047.
